Purpose

The music ministry is a vital part of the total ministry at Franklin Crossroads which proclaims the message that Jesus is Lord and magnifies Him in worship. Our members have the opportunity to use their gifts to praise the Lord and lead our people in worshipping Him during our worship services.  It is our desire to see all people experience God by worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24).

Worship Leadership

Bryan Stewart leads the congregation in praising and worshiping our Lord.  He is assisted by instrumental accompanists, the choir, and age group choir leaders.

Music Groups

ADULT CHOIR: The Adult Choir is a group of singers who join together for the purpose of giving glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They sing every Sunday morning in worship. In addition, the Adult Choir sings in several special productions throughout the year, including an Easter drama, and a Christmas drama. People from all walks of life and all abilities are invited to come join and be a part of the Sanctuary Choir. Auditions are NOT required, only a servant's heart and a desire to grow closer to our Lord through the awesome gift of music. Rehearses Wednesday nights at 8:00pm in the Choir room, under the direction of Bryan Stewart.

STUDENT CHOIR: Grades 6-12. Student Choir is an opportunity to serve the Lord and worship Him. It is not just about singing. He wants us to praise and serve Him. The Student Choir will lead in worship, pray for each other and have a great time. The Student Choir rehearses every Sunday at 4:30 pm.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR: Grades 1-5. This is a time for music making, learning Christian and music fundamentals as well as enjoying fun together. One highlight of the year is at Christmas, when they present a Christmas musical. Another highlight is the spring musical. During the year the children get to lead in worship during selected Sunday services. Meets every Sunday night at 6:00pm.

MUSIC FRIENDS CHOIR: Ages 4 - Kindergarten. Preschool Choir is an active time of singing and learning to worship God through music. They sing during selected Sunday services. Meets every Sunday night at 6:00 pm.

INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE: They play every Sunday morning. Rehearses Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the sanctuary. Please see Bro. Bryan about your interest in being involved in this ministry.
